Ronald Jack Obituary

Ronald, age 60 of Ivanhoe, passed away in the early morning on Oct. 22, 2009, at his home. We could not have prepared ourselves for this day; you out lived all of the Doctors' predictions. Ron was born on Sept. 26, 1949 in Reedley, Ca to Lloyd and Betty Jack. He attended school in Dinuba before the family moved to Visalia. He attended Redwood High School, where he met his future wife, Itha Standerfer, who was a Freshman when they met. In the mid seventies they reunited and started dating and eventually were married in May of 1977. In April of 1992 they bought their home in Ivanhoe, where he passed away in 2009. Many will remember him from his days at Shakey's Pizza Parlor and Martin Oswalt Chevron. He was currently employed at Corner Store in Sultana. Ron was ornery and loved to make people laugh, his favorite greeting to others no matter what time of day it happened to be was "Good Morning". He liked to think of his many pets as his "kids", starting with the first one, that was a gift from his sister in law and named Shakey. His favorite mode of transportation was his motorcycle, of which he often bragged to others about the good mileage he got. He rode his motorcycle year round no matter what kind of weather was outside. He also enjoyed putting models together, anywhere from model cars, planes, and ship kits to Leggo kits. He is survived by his wife, Itha Jack, parents Lloyd and Betty Jack, brother Larry Jack, sister and brother in law Lauralee and Jerry Kleinhans, a sister in law and her husband Mary and John Williams, his uncle and aunt Bill and Sue Szpor. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews and his "kids" Gracie, Junior, Precious Puppy (Missy Pee), Rocxie and Parris, as well as, his many other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Services will be at Grace Community Church in Visalia on Oct 30, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. . In lieu of flowers, Remembrances may be sent to The March of Dimes or a Charity of your choice. Arrangements by Miller Memorial.

To the Jack family I send my deepest condolences for your loss. I was very sad to hear about my dear friend and former co-worker of 8 yrs. Ron was truely one of a kind.I would often tease him "Ron, your like mold..you grow on people!" we also devised a plan to get rich selling the"RON" doll.
looking just like him,& almost life size he would laugh! In his own voice would say 10 of his most memorable phrases. It was gonna be the hottest must have item of the century!! Bye bye Ron.... I'll never forget you.
Love Trish

I knew Ron when I was grade school, and he was a young teen. Ronnie used to keep us enthralled with his storytelling. He was so nice to all of us who were younger and we looked forward to our after-school time so we could listen to him. I can only believe that he grew up to be a great guy, and I'm sure the entire family mourns this loss. Bless all of you,

I also rode the bus that went from Visalia to Ivanhoe to pick those student and after school too. Ronny always greeted you with the warmest smile and he likeed to joke around and he had w wonderful since of humor and he tole us alot of jokes. Again, May God Be With You during this moment.
