Visalia
Shereen Sweeney spent most of her 58 years in Visalia where she attended Redwood High School and College of the Sequoias, but found time to seek adventure and excitement at Cayucos and Morro Bay or wherever there was good music and conversation.
Single all her life, she leaves her parents Pete and Shirley Sweeney, her sister Megan Sweeney, her brother Kollen Sweeney, nephew Jeremy Mangano, and furry friend Roxie, all of Visalia.
Memorial services will be held Friday, September 15, 2017 at 10 am at Visalia First Presbyterian Church. Remembrances may be sent to the church.

Shereen was my big sister. The 7 year age difference mattered less as we aged but i always knew my place. Nothing changed until now. I no longer have a big sister.The universe seems all wrong. There is a void where she used to be and I will never be the same. But I will love her forever

In 1977 Shereen spent a few days at my apartment before moving to the cost we laughed and talked all night.
She had a marvelous sense of humor and a beautiful smile.
