Thomas Mullally Obituary

Thomas William Mullally

Visalia - Tom passed away peacefully at home in Visalia at the age of 67. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Tom was born on November 12, 1953 in the Panama Canal Zone. While growing up in a military family he had the opportunity to live and visit many places including Germany, Italy, France, Austria, Ohio, Maryland, Salt Lake City and Huntington Beach. He graduated from Marina High School in Huntington Beach in 1971. He moved to Visalia in 1974 and worked as a label pressman for many years and helped with the operations of the Burger Boy Cafe in Exeter, California. Tom founded Home Satellite Systems in 1989 and made many connections with customers in Tulare and Kings counties providing satellite systems, Internet and home automation. Prior to his retirement he gifted the business to his son who converted the business name to eHome Integration.

Shortly after high school, he met his love Elizabeth (Patty) at Paudash Lake in Ontario, Canada. They were married on June 14, 1974. One of his greatest joys was spending summers with his family at Paudash Lake. The summers were filled with deep sentimental memories of fishing, boating, skiing, swimming, and towing his two boys riding the infamous Master Blaster. Tom had a strong devotion to sports and enjoyed barbecuing, watching movies, keeping up to date on the latest home entertainment technology and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Tom is preceded in death by his mother Marjorie and his sister Lorna. He is survived by his wife Patty of 46 1/2 years, son Christopher and granddaughter Addison; son Sean and wife Jennifer and grandchildren Lauren and Sean Jr.; his father Francis; sisters Kayla and Frances; brother-in-law John and Jodie McCracken and Jim and Rosemary Bernard as well as many nieces and nephews. Many, many thanks to those who lovingly cared for him during his illness. Tom's wishes were to be cremated and his ashes placed at Paudash Lake in Ontario, Canada. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
