STEVE HOLIFIELD

STEVE HOLIFIELD After a six year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), Steve passed on to heaven with his family by his side in his home in Apple Valley on March 4, 2011 at the age of 43. He was born and grew up in Upland, California, then moved to Big Bear, California with his wife, and resided in Apple Valley with his family for the past eight years. He left behind his wife of 20 years; Christine, his daughter; Brianna, his son; Brandon, his mother; Kathy, father; Andy, brother; David and sister; Christine. Steve was a fantastic math teacher in San Bernardino County for 20 years. Six of those wonderful teaching years were here in Apple Valley at The Academy of Academic Excellence where Steve touched many hearts with his zeal for life. Steve was happiest when he was camping at the beach with his family. He was a wonderful husband/ best friend and an excellent father who loved us more than anything. Steve's Celebration of Life was held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at The Academy of Academic Excellence on 17500 Mana Road, Apple Valley, CA 92307.
