Bobbi McElhaney Obituary
Bobbi was born Sept. 21, 1968, in Waco, and attended LaVega High School. She continued her education to become a licensed vocational nurse. She had an enormous heart to help the elderly.
Bobbi was full of life and held her children dearly to her heart. She strived to better herself and become the best she could be. Bobbi was an amazing person with an abundance of love and thoughtfulness.
Stricken by cancer, Bobbi fought long and hard. She gained the respect and spoke to many people throughout her fight. She gracefully fought the odds of the inevitable. Her mission was to tell people about F.R.O.G., Fully Rely On God.
Bobbi is survived by her son, Brasen McElhaney; daughter, Heather Ellis; brothers, Bradley and Davis Estes; sister, Michelle Estes; mother, Margaret Estes; and her lifelong best friend, Kristy Chapman.
Special thanks to Seton Northwest Hospital and Altenheim Hospice Staff.

I had the chance to know get to know Bobbi when we went thru CNA class together at MCC in 2002. I have t osay she was the kindest hearted person I ever knew. The times we spent studying for our test, or eating lunch at the Blackeyed pea or just talking about our kids, are some of my most precious memories. The news of her passing has saddned me very much. Rest in peace my sweet friend god has a beautiful angel.

Bobbi, I still cant wrap my heart around the fact that you were taken so young by this dreadful thing called Cancer... But your fight inspired me as well as so many!! They have an amazin Angel in Heaven right now sparkling up the place ;) just like you did the halls back in school!! We always had so much fun in our classes together... laughin & talkin the whole time!! Thank Gosh for facebook for us to get back in touch & chat some!! I am not sorry that Bobbi went to be with Jesus. I am sad that I am still here. She is being blessed in His awesome and wonderous presence. Don't mourn for her. She's not sad, or feeling anything, but happy. I'll see you soon, Bobbi.

I was shocked to hear Bobbi was taken so early from us all and has left behind her two children who she loved very much. Though not blood related I always thought of her as a cousin and will always remember her sweet smile. She will be greatly missed by many though she is now home where she can watch over her family as their angel. We will miss you greatly.

Was so saddened to hear of Bobbi's passing but with mixed feelings. There are many great memories that remain with me - her ready smile - her ability to be rather blunt on occassion - her love of life! Without a doubt she is going to missed by a great deal of people, but she is obviously in the presence of the Lord and is more alive at this moment than she has ever been. Love her, praying for those familiy members who will miss her most.

Oh my gosh. I was shocked to hear this news. Although I didn't know Bobbi very well I have been truly touched by this sad news. I had no idea she was ill.I so wish that I had known. I had not been in contact for a couple of years. I actually used to clean Bobbi's apartment in Cedar Park a couple of years ago. I got to know her because she was at the apartment a couple of times when I cleaned. We talked about all kinds of things that were going on in her rather interesting life. She spoke alot about her little boy as well as her daughter. She loved them very much. My prayers are for them in this very painful and difficult time. God bless you all.
