Prayers go out to all the family. I will miss her and her comfortable living room with her kindly hospitality always wanting to give me something to eat or drink even when she felt bad. She was a great lady.

I have not talked to Bobbie in many years, but she was my landlady during a very difficult time in my life and was so kind to me. I wanted to tell you how sorry I am to read of your loss.
May God bless and comfort you.

BOBBIE SURLY WILL BE MISSED. SHE WAS MY DAD'S SECRETARY AT TSTC FOR A LONG TIME AND SHE HAD KNOWN US SINCE WE WERE CHILDREN. SHE WOULD TAKE SUCH GOOD CARE OF ME AND MY SISTER WHEN MY DAD WOULD TAKE US TO WORK WITH HIM. SHE WOULD LET US TYPE ON HER TYPE WRITER OR PLAY WHEELS FOR FORTUNE ON HER COMPUTER. I JUST WISH I COULD HAVE SEEN HER ONE MORE TIME BEFORE SHE PASSED. AND I CAN PROUDLY SAY THAT SINCE BOBBIE LEFT, SHE HAS STILL BEEN THE BEST SECRETARY THE AUTOMOTIVE DEPARTMENT HAS EVER HAD.

Bobbie was a very special person. We enjoyed many trips together, laughing and enjoying just being silly.
I know that our group of friends that went to Bossier together will miss her and remember our fun times together.
