Esther Ann Allison, 64, of Axtell, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021, with her family by her side. Esther was born in Waxahachie, Texas, on November 28, 1956, to Bill and Frances Sandefer. She graduated from La Feria High in 1975. She worked at Walmart for many years before retiring in 2002. She was married to Lowell Lee Allison for 24 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Gloria Kuechmann; and her great-granddaughter, Britni Kay. She is survived by her husband, Lowell; her son, Billy Masten of San Diego, CA; daughters, Wendie Mayer of McGregor, Frances Jane of Coolidge, Debbie McConnell of Bastrop, Donna Allison of New Braunfels, Deanna of Waco, and son, Denny of Taylor, a sister Carylon Wake of McGregor. She has 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She loved traveling, camping, coffee, football (Dallas Cowboys) and most importantly she loved her family. Her service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, February 5, at Bellmead Funeral Home proceeded by her burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
