Ruth Marie Ward died on January 2nd, 2023 at 85 years old in Brenham, Tx she was surrounded by loved ones.
She was born Ruth Marie Kilgore in Chilton, Tx on July 17, !937 to Claude and Emma Kilgore.
She lived most of her life in Marlin and Waco Texas.
She is preceded in death by her Husband Johnny Ward. Her Son James Strickland, her siblings Ralph Kilgore, William Kilgore, Evelyn Kilgore, Claud Kilgore, and Clyde Kilgore, Her Grandson Jason Smith, and her Granddaughter Rachel Strickland.
She is survived by her Brother Donald Kilgore, her Sister Mary Ann Douglas, her Sister Dorothy Ann McElhany.
She is also survived by her Son Roy Smith Sr., Daughter Lisa Rhodes, Daughter Brenda Wellbrock, and Son William Wellbrock.
"Grandma" is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
