Sammi Weaver Obituary

Sammi Jo Weaver, precious daughter and sister, passed away on Jan. 4, 2007, at her home in Speegleville, Texas.Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Crawford, Texas, with Pastor Tom Beers officiating.Burial will follow at the Crawford Cemetery. Sammi Jo was born on April 20, 2005,, to loving parents Melinda Sue and David Eric Weaver. Sammi Jo is also survived by her big sister, Addisen Paige Weaver; her grandparents, Gary and Cindy Walts of Speegleville, David and Ofelia Weaver of Mart; her great-grandparents Bob and Alice Guthrie of Gatesville, and Billy Joe and Peggy Walts of Lake Mexia; and her great-grandmother Mrs. Francis Ramos of Waco. Sammi Jo was cherished by all of her aunts and uncles, Vince and Michelle Davis of Robinson, Delena and Gary Hoffman of Robinson, Raquel and Charles Blood of Ft. Campbell, Ky., Brandon Weaver of Mart, and Houston and Miranda Weaver of Waco and her cousins; Cody and Caitlyn Davis, Tori and Tyler Gordon, and Chad, Melina, and Marisela Blood.She was also dearly loved and cared for by Robin Allen and family.Her many extended family members and friends will miss her very much.Family life was made happier by her bright smile, hugs, and kisses. Sammi Jo was preceded in death by her great grandfather, Proseso Z. Ramos. A fund has been established at First Security Bank in Crawford, Texas to assist the family. Isaiah 40: 11: He tends his flocks like a shepherd. He gathers the lambs in his arms and he carries them close to his heart. David, Melinda and Addi I pray for you often and cry with you daily. I don't know what to say but I will be here for you always. I cant say my heart is in what I do anymore but I am trying for sammi because I know that is what she would want. I know she would want us to go on and I pray God gives us that strength that only he can give to do just that. I know she will live with me in thoughts forever and can never thank you enough for letting me be the one to care for her and love her which I did so with all my heart. One day God will help us understand. I would of given my own life for her.

I remember holding her at Justin's wedding and amazed at the way her and Addisen look just like you, Melinda, when you were little.
