Cassandra Gropp Obituary
Gropp was born March 16, 1970 to Michel (Cobb) Drahota and Ralph Cobb in Cambridge, Mass. She was employed at LenCo PMC in Waverly.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Bruce Rush; and her grandparents.
She is survived by her husband, Jonnie Gropp; son, Zackary Gropp; mother and stepfather Michel (Cobb) and Duane Drahota of Lincoln; stepbrothers and spouse, Brian and Michelle Drahota and Jeff Drahota of Rapid City, S.D.; mother-in-law, Blanche Rush of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Josi Rush of Omaha; brother-in-law and spouse, Jack and Tisha Gropp; sister-in-law and spouse, Jodie and Kevin Barnes of Lincoln; aunt, Julie Burke of Brooks, Maine; uncle, Sean Benjamin of Lincoln; many nieces and nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, Dec. 8 from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lincoln Meadows, 3235 North 35th Street in Lincoln, one block north of 35th and Cornhusker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

I was very lucky to have met Cassy this fall at her job.
