Sara Olson Obituary
Olson was born Oct. 31, 1927 to George and Effie (Staley) Boulier in Omaha. She was a retired farmer.
She was a member of the Ceresco Covenant Church, Ceresco Chapter O.E.S., Ceresco Legion Auxiliary and a long time volunteer at Raymond Central Schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Kenneth and Marine Boulier.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph; children and spouses, Carrie Olson-Fava of Henderson, Nev., Susan Olson of Arlington, Va., Sally Olson-Nelson and Ray Nelson of Safety Harbor, Fla. and John and Cathy Olson of Marlton, N.J.; grandchildren, Jennifer and spouse Mark Goulbourne, Cara Fava, Patrick Olson, Elizabeth Olson and Jack Olson; great-grandchild, Xavier Goulbourne; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Nov. 29 at the Ceresco Covenant Church with Pastor Jodie Moore, officiating. Burial was at the Danish Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the church or People's City Mission.

Dearest Ralph and Family-
How greatly saddened I was to learn of the loss of your precious Betty. When someone you love dies, it leaves an empty spot in your heart which could never be filled by any other person. What a wonderful gift we have from god in memories. When you close your eye, you can see and remember Betty just as she was when she was happy and healthy. Soon, in a new world of god's making, all pain, suffering and sickness will be gone forever. Until then, I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry for your loss. Like Kevin I also have very fond memories of the entire Olson family. Ms. Betty's ever present smile and her dedication to the functions at Raymond Central were greatly appreciated. She was truly a great lady. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Olson family.

My thoughts are with you, Susan, Sally, and family. I'm sorry for your loss and still have fond and vivid memories of Betty's candid, yet caring, personality, even though it's been over 30 years since I saw her last.
