Frances Rezac Obituary

Frances Lorraine (Bellmore) Rezac
April 23, 1930 - April 18, 2025
Frances Lorraine (Bellmore) Rezac, age 94, of Kent, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at St. Francis Home in Breckenridge, Minnesota. A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2025, with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m., at Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home in Breckenridge. The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 26, 2025, with a visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m., at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Kent, MN. Father Leo Moenkedick will be officiating the services. Burial will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery in Kent, MN. Arrangements have been entrusted to Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home.
Frances was born on April 23, 1930, in Wahpeton, North Dakota, to Frank and Mavis (Peak) Bellmore. She grew up and attended country school in Kent, MN, and later graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1949. After this, she worked at the Wilkin County Court House for three years.
She became a devoted wife to Donald Rezac on February 19, 1953, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Kent, MN. While Donald was in the Army, they lived in Aberdeen, Maryland, until returning to Kent, MN, after Donald was discharged. Frances worked alongside Donald in their farming operation. They raised six children. They loved to travel together when the farming season slowed down. Don went to be with the Lord on March 29, 1984; and Frances continued to live on the farm until moving to Twin Town Villa in Breckenridge. She believed mowing the lawn was her best medicine. She was also an avid gardener, known for her large zinnia plots, and enjoyed crafts such as quilting and crocheting. She gifted many of her quilts to her children and grandchildren as they entered new seasons of life – births, graduations, and weddings. Above all, she adored her family and any time spent with them.
Frances will be greatly missed by her loving family including her children, Jim Rezac, Kip (Donna) Rezac, Don (Dee Dee) Rezac, Mavis (Michael) Pattee, Dave (Jody) Rezac, and Terry (Kelly) Rezac; grandchildren, Tim (fiancée, Dawn Soden) Rezac, Carrie Rezac, Jared Rezac, Jamie (Erica) Rezac, Arica (fiancé, Joel Dasher) Rezac, Chad (Ronda) Rezac, Sara (Levi) Hamacher, Nathan Phillips, Ryan (Aly) Pattee, Tyler (Sydney) Pattee, Ross (fiancée, Alyssa O'Connell) Pattee, Alexis Rezac, and Lauren Rezac; 19 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Rezac; parents, Frank and Mavis Bellmore; and sister, Mary Rezac.

It´s seems so long ago, I knew Kip & Donna. It was a long time ago I know their kids as Shooter and Bunny. Kip´s mom was a wonderful person and raised some great kids. I know she will be dearly missed. God is getting another good one. Praying for peace for the Rezac family.
