Gregg Schuler

1951 - 2024

Gregg passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, at Essentia Hospital in Fargo, at the age of 72, surrounded by his family.

Gregg Lynn Schuler was born on Dec. 4, 1951, the son of Fredric and Maxine (DeBus) Schuler in Fairmont, Minnesota. He grew up in the Campbell, Minnesota area and received his education, graduating from Campbell High School in 1970. Gregg then attended the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, North Dakota where he received his degree in Accounting.

Gregg was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Judy Davidson, on April 20, 1974, at St. Gall's Catholic Church in Tintah, Minnesota. They made their home in Roseville, Minnesota, for two years where he worked for the General Paper Corporation and the University of Minnesota – St. Paul location.

Gregg and Judy moved to Fargo in 1977 and have lived there since. Gregg began working at Northwest Pipe Fittings for two years, before starting at Northwest Iron Fireman, where he worked for 44 years.

Gregg is survived by his loving wife, Judy of Fargo; his son, Ryan Schuler of Dilworth, Minnesota; and grandson, Quincy Schuler. Also surviving is his brother, Gary (Pamela) Schuler of Moorhead, Minnesota; his sisters-in-law, Darlene Schuler of Wahpeton, North Dakota; and Mary Jo (Robin) Slavik of Fargo; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredric and Maxine; his siblings – Marc Schuler, Tonya Schuler, and Michael Schuler.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024 at Vukku Lutheran Church near Foxhome, Minnesota – with a visitation one hour prior

PRAYER SERVICE: 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2024 at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo – with a visitation beginning at 5 PM

BURIAL: Vukku Lutheran Church Cemetery near Foxhome, Minnesota
