David J. Recine

WALTHAM David J. Recine, of Waltham, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, after a brief illness. He was 60. The son of the late Angelo and Angelina (Giuliano) Recine, he was born, raised and educated in Waltham. He was a graduate of Waltham High School, Class of 1966. Mr. Recine retired as a master pipefitter with Local 537, Boston. An avid fisherman and outdoorsman, he enjoyed spending time in New Hampshire. He was the brother of the late Robert Recine. Mr. Recine is survived by his wife of 41 years, Karen M. (Fitzpatrick) Recine; his daughter, Wendy A. Recine of Waltham; his son, Joseph and his wife, Kelly (Ryan) Recine, of Waltham; his granddaughter, Madison Recine; and his sisters, Judith and her husband, David Tobin, of Mashpee, and Janice and her husband, Angelo Faiello, of East Boston. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. Services will take place Friday, Jan. 30, at 9:30 a.m., from the Brasco and Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., Waltham, with a Mass of Christian burial at Our Ladys Church, Waltham, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Saint Bernards Cemetery in Concord.
