PROCTOR AARON JEROME PROCTOR On Saturday, July 18,2009; loving son of Jerome L. and Andrea R. Proctor; brother of Ashley; grandson of Agnes J. and the late Donald F. Taylor, James J. Barbour, Hilda B. and Jerome E. Proctor; great-grandson of Rose H. Shade. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins; other relatives and friends. On Friday, July 24, viewing will be held from 7 until 9 p.m. at POPE FUNERAL HOME, 5538 Marlboro Pike, Forestville, MD. on Saturday, July 25, viewing will also be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 8908 Old Branch Ave., Clinton, MD. following a Mass of Christian Burial interment Resurrection Cemetery.

Saturday, July 18, 2009, a day I will never forget. My world was turned upside down when I received that fatal phone call. I experienced so many emotions and prayed it wasnt true. You can imagine how devastated Ashley and I were when we drove passed the tow truck and saw your motorcycle being towed. Of course, I had to be strong for Ashley and hold things together until we were safely home.

There is not a day that goes by that I dont think about you. I, often, find myself traveling down memory lane with so much joy in my heart as I recall the wonderful memories you left in my life. Ashley can finally talk about you. You would be very proud of Ashley as she has matured into her own person. I know you are in heaven smiling down on all of us. Once again, you can sit with Grandma (Jackie) and tell your funny stories with that beautiful smile.
So many family members, Mama, Cyndi, Keith, Al, Grandma (Jackie), and Tommy have greeted you at the pearly gates. Daddy, Donald, Greg and Marty were waiting to greet all of you.

So many family members are leaving this place we call Earth and going home to their Lord. COVID-19 has dramatically changed all of our lives and gave us a new meaning for normal, whatever that may be in these trying times.

Wow Aaron another year. Aaron life has been a rough ride on the roller coaster as I'm getting older. When I was young it was fun with laughs. Now it is heartaches and pain. Loosing love ones, families drifting apart. Coronavirus is the unknown. I know the life experience in eternity with love ones is the greatest family reunion you could ever imagine. Good Morning Son,
You have been on my mind all day for the last couple of weeks. We miss and love you. Your Grandma Proctor received her wings on 18 Sept 2019. Your Papa is really taking this one hard. Your dad and the family is too, but he's doing well. I know you and the rest of the family will greet her with smiles and hugs. She fought a long hard fight. Aaron now I know where my kids got their strength from. They had two strong Grandma's that I will miss for the rest of my life. My Life is forever changed when losing the people we love so much. Hey Aaron,
It's been awhile since I wrote on your book. I feel your presence everyday. Ashley has even been doing things that reminds me of you. Aaron remember how you would miss dental appointments taking your Grandma to the doctor's. Ashley was helping Grandma also right up to the end Aaron. Remember how Grandma would fuss you out and you would say I love you too Grandma. Ashley was different with that part you know how her mouth was. She would say Grandma is not going to talk to me like that. Aaron Grandma passed away rightvin Ashley's arms. I realized how strong you both were. Aaron it hurts to lose Grandma but her face looked at peace. Meet your Grandma and take her hand. She missed you so much. Lots of love to all my family and friends that are in heaven.

Hello Son,
Today is Tuesday, March 17, 2015. I'm TDY which I have not done in years. I remember when you were 8 years old and I would take you with me. Well your memories are always with me, but you really came to mind when I found out I'm sitting in class with your best friends (Larry) mom. Man she brought back many memories of you and Larry back in Landover Hills, Md. Larry's daughter is 9 years old and cute as ever. His sister also have a 13 year old daughter. I miss you so much and wish everyday that you were still here with me. I know that God has a plan and I do understand, but it don't stop me from wishing that you were still physically with us. We all miss you, Ashley is doing well at the Post Office and we did invest in that swimming pool that we always wanted. Thanks for being a good son. I love you.

It's been awhile and I needed to let you know that your little sister is doing well. Also, we lost Pup today 1-12-15 @ 1:30pm. It was a sad moment for Dad and I thought of you for every time that we had to tell you that we lost our beloved pet. We haven't told Ashley yet, but Dad better tell her soon (tonight). Hey Aaron,
I am sitting at my desk, and you came to mind. I know you are alright, so I don't have to ask how are you. We just came back from a cruise a few weeks ago and we had a good time. 22 of us and we shared good food, fun shows, laughs, and late nights acting up. I know you were there in spirit. Whats up big cousin? Just writing to say I miss you very much, and let you know that I think about you everyday! words can't express how how broken I am since your passing, but I am doing my best to cope with it. I can't help but to remenise on all of the countless "battles" we had. lol. From the dirtbike and 4wheelers, to the video games, to the basketball court. All I can do is look back at it all and just smile, because I am truely blessed to have shared those special moments with an angel such as yourself. Hello Aaron,
I took today off in memory of you. Dad stayed home also. I know your thinking he would have taken a day anyway. We enjoyed being home with all our memories of you. Ashley had me play a song by N-Sync call "If only through heavens eyes" and I played a song from Ladder 49 called "Shine your light down on me". I always can feel you with me. Don't understand why you had to leave at such an early age, but I'm still praying for our family and know that I will see you again. Normally, I take change without a problem, but this is the test that has made change a very difficult task. I thank God, you and your family/friends for helping me. I always know what you would say to me "Mom you can do it, I have faith in you" I have not fallen apart, but this have been the most challenging two years in my whole life. I still sometimes wish that you would walk through the door and call "Mom" or look in your room across the hall and your there. I miss you so much and love you with my whole heart and soul. I never knew someone could feel so broken until I loss you. Your the best son that a mom could ever want. Keep smiling down on us and let your light shine. Hug everyone for me, because I miss and love you all. Hugs and kisses. You always were ready with your arms open wide, I miss that.

Happy Memorial Day Aaron. I know you would have been enjoying yourself on this day while remembering our Veteren's.
Hear that Mike K. was remembering you on bike week in Myrtle Beach, SC. I walked a 5K at the cemetry and prayed each time I walked by you. Dad and I then went on the boat, he had a memory about you and him on the boat. That was nice, because I always love when we remember you. Hello Andrea,

Hope all is well with you and your family. It’s been ages since we saw or spoke to each other. I think of you often. Come spring, at least you, Brigitte and I need to meet up for lunch and conversation. I miss seeing you!

All is well on my end. Mike is still at UPS and Aaron started a job at APL a couple of months ago. Now, that was weird! He seems to like it so far. His wife Diana is working as a speech pathologist 3 days a week. She cut down on days to save on day care. Natalie turned one on January 30th. She’s such a doll baby. Of course she has my personality so what’s not to love!! Don’t tell her parents that. Besides I’m making it up! She’s actually a very laid back and happy baby.

Well the last few days you have been on my mind a lot. I want to share with you a dream I had before waking up this morning…

I walked into a very large area that was full of people walking around, smiling and conversing with each other. Every so often I could hear someone laughing! I’m looking around not recognizing anyone. As I listened and looked around I noticed how vivid and real everything looked and felt (it was in color!). As I’m standing there, I noticed someone walking towards me and then stop front of me. When I looked up, I noticed the person looking down at me had the happiest looking eyes and the biggest smile you would ever see on a person’s face....it was your Aaron! It was as if I could feel his happiness and peace. It was amazing! At this point I woke up thinking oh, my, gosh! It made me smile….

I hope you don’t mind me sharing this with you. Maybe Aaron wanted you to know! J

Happy Valentine's Day. I visited your marker today so that I could talk with you and leave you a little something. Words can not express how much we miss you around here. We just miss you and don't question, "why"? I know you are surrounded by family and friends who believed in God's will. My faith is all I have that I will see you again too one day soon. I can feel you all around me everyday and I appreicate your love and concern. Thanks for my Valentine's Rock you left for me, it made my day. Hello Aaron,
Merry Christmas. We are about to go into another year. An angel came and met Moma this morning so you should see her soon. I already miss her, but I know she's coming home with God and the rest of my family. Man life just don't seem right without you and now my Grandma who was just like my mom. I know I must go on until God calls me, its like a test here and if you pass you get to go home. I'm glad that moma is not suffering or feeling lonely any more. God wrapped his arms around her and brought her home.

Hey Aaron,
It's a rainy cold October day. You have been on my mind since I woke this morning. I took Ashley to school and thought after returning how you would come in from work calling Mom. I really miss that. Or how you would say are you working today? Most be nice to work from home. I miss your smile and your voice the most. I have some recorded videos on your phone and I listen to those when I need to be comforted. God did a good job as always when selecting you to be one of his angels, but I'm still feeling the loss of not having you here with us. Ashley and I go skating sometimes with Tenisha at Crystals on Sundays. Dad even tried one Sunday with your skates. Sometimes I also go outside at night and look up at the sky to find the brightess star and I talk to you telling you Thanks for being a good son and big brother. We miss you here on earth, but know that we will meet up with you again to laugh, love, and live together forever in God's kingdom. Rest in peace my son, I'm doing fine handling things while your gone, it's a job but I'll make it through. Thanks again for all your help when you were here. We love and miss you always. Hello Son,
Today was a special day for your Dad and me. We were married by the catholic church. We missed you and Ashley being there. Your sister has her first job working at Camp St. Charles and you my love have gone home with the Lord. I know you were with us because I felt your presence and Father Tovar mentioned you. When leaving the church there was a motorcycle motorcade and I knew you were watching over us. The bikes were beautiful. I know your doing a good job in heaven like you did here on earth. Yesterday was Michael Jackon's 1 year anniversity and I could remember you telling me that Tammy said to chill that they would re-play his memorial service again that night. I would have never thought that I would lose you the next month. We all love and miss you so much. You were a special son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. I love you so much and the man that created you. (God & Dad) The wedding was great and I know you would have felt that way. You sent your sign and I smiled because your still with us in many ways. Hey Aaron, today would have been your 25th (4/25/2010). I know you celebrated up there in a way Aunt Wanda could never have done down here. So enjoy your celebration and continue watching over the love ones you left down here. Oh, I don't know if you knew Brenda's son Tony but he arrived April 4th. If you didn't know him have Uncle Greg introduce you and embrace him with love. You are truly missed.
