Alan Cooper Obituary

On August 6, 2025, Alan Irving Cooper of Potomac, MD. Beloved husband of Dr. Sharon C. Cooper PhD; Devoted father of Judith Blackstock and Pamela Cooper; Loving brother of Bennett (Joan) Cooper; Cherished grandfather of Nikki, Cai, and Hailey; also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Alan was a successful entrepreneur who owned liquor stores and taught himself all about the world of wines. He was a long time member of Adas Israel and Woodmont County Club. He loved tennis, swimming, dancing, fine food, and the beach.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 12 noon, at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Adelphi, MD.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
Funeral services entrusted to Sagel Bloomfield Funeral Care.
