I had the pleasure of calling Mrs. Gretsch my teacher. I learned so much from her in that English class! In my 17 years of education, she was hands down my favorite teacher! I was so very sad to hear that she passed away. I would have loved a chance to see her in my adult life. She was an awesome teacher!!

Alice Gretsch was an shining light for friends, family and colleagues. Allie was a gifted and motivating teacher. She invested herself in young people especially. Allie had a beautiful voice and was an excellent thespian. She was passionate about politics and just about everything else she encountered. She taught her loved ones to recognize and own their feelings. She had vision for everyone's future. Her love and glorious hugs certainly changed the course of my own life. I will forever try to do "what Allie would do" in tribute to her inspiring life and generous outpouring of love.
