The years have gone by and my memories of Allen are still as vivid as if the events had happened recently instead of over thirty years ago. We shared so many good laughs and even some tears as colleagues and friends. His laughter was contagious. He was a good person and a great friend. We are lucky to have had him in our lives. I pray that Allen is at peace.

Allen and I had a close fiendship for more than 55 years. During that time we shared frinedly competitions, wonderful friends, professional activities, a working relationship, sports activities, a social fraternity membership, family relationships, and mutual interests. Those have been cherished years and I will miss my contacts with him. May God bless his soul, welcome him into heaven, and comfort as well console his family and friends! Dr. David L. Williams, Jr.

I send my sincerest prayers to the Wills family as we send one more soul to the World of God.

The Sturdivant family and the Wills family have had parallel and rewarding lives over several decades in church life, in school and in our Northeast Wshington neighborhood.

Personally, I feel endeared to Allen for beilng a true friend at the Church of God, at Cardozo High School and at the U.S. Department of Education where for a few years we both worked and shared stories and friends. May the spirit of the Lord surround his dear soul.

Allen was both a neighbor and a co-worker. My husband I wish to express our heart felt sadness. He was a great guy. He and I traveled together for work and for several years he was my supervisior. He was a caring man who provided good counsel and I will always remeber how he worked with me as a new employee, providing instruction and guidance as I began my career at Education. My family will always remember the image of him walking his dog around Hillcrest. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
