Mr. and Mrs Ross, I was so saddened to learn about Amani. She was a beautiful little girl who faced a great deal of hardship in her short life. However, the love of her parents, extended family, nurses and doctors was surely felt by her at all times.
It was fun to watch her grow and develop into a smiley, attentive little girl. You two were the best parents she could possibly have had. Your devotion and love to Amani was noticed and admired by all who came in contact with her.
My heart goes out to you and you are in my prayers.

Mr. & Mrs. Ross,
I was so sad to hear about Amani yesterday and I can't even imagine the depth of your sorrow. I will always remember her beautiful smiles and how she could make my day. Barbara and I had a chance to visit her at HSC when we were there for a presentation and Amani just lit up when we saw her. I am happy to have that as a last memory of her. Please know that I am sending my thoughts and prayers your way.
Sincerely,
Janice (Child Life)

I was so sorry to hear from Barbara that Amani had died. My heart goes out to you. I wish I could give you a big hug. I won't be able to come to the services tommorrow because of work conflicts but my thoughts will be with you-- then and other times as well.
