Amelia Cuozzo Bottalico

Amelia Cuozzo Bottalico passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She cherished her role as a devoted wife and homemaker above all, yet for over 20 years she served on the secretarial staff at the University of Maryland. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, Pat Bottalico; and is survived by her children Teresa B. Christie (the late Richard); Stephen A. Bottalico; Lisa B. Hicks (Earl); and David A. Bottalico; and her grandchildren David, Cara, Stephen, Martine (Cole), Eric, Michael, Jack, and Luke. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 7501 Adelphi Road, Hyattsville, MD, Monday, March 31, 2025, from 9 to 10 a.m.; where the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD.
