AMIN RAMADAN Obituary


AMIN MOHAMED RAMADAN  
Beloved Husband of 52 years  Born Alexandria Egypt March 1, 1938  Passed on December 30, 2016  Adored father and grandfather. After moving to the United States in 1966 to work for Riggs Bank, Amin started working for the World Bank Group in 1968. He spent the rest of his career there and he eventually retired as Director of Special Operations for the IFC (International Finance Corporation). In his personal life his kind heart and genourous spirit endeared him to all who knew him. Ready with a helping hand, his door was always open. He loved old comedies and his laugh filled a room and spread like wildfire through everyone's hearts. His pride and joy was his family and he is survived by his wife of 52 years Nadia Kaissouni Ramadan; his three children Fikri Ramadan, Manal Ramadan-Megahed, Waleed (Lido) Ramadan; and his three beautiful grandchildren Malena, Layla, and Yasmeen. His laughter will ring in our hearts forever.Laid to rest in King David Memorial in private ceremony on January 2, 2017. Memorial reception to be held January 14, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency in McLean, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his honor may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society (www.braintumor.org). Bye Nunu, we miss you already.
