Tom was my boss early in my Air Force career, but more important a mentor and a friend. He was challenging, infuriating, and tough ... mostly because he genuinely cared about bringing out the best in people. In and out of uniform, he spent his professional life dedicated to making our Air Force, our military, and our country better. I miss him, but I will carry a piece of him with me through the lessons about pride and commitment to something greater than yourself he taught. Rest easy my friend, you have certainly earned it.

My condolences for the passing of Tom. I had many PA OICs during my Air Force career, and he was one of my favorites. I have many fond memories of my assignment at Lindsey AS, Wiesbaden, Germany, working for him. Know that you're in my thoughts and prayers.
