I worked with Andy on an analyis project as colleagues at the FAA. He was incredibly smart, patient in sharing his intellect and had a great sense of humor. I'm thankful to have known him.

I sent out my prayers to you and your family. I enjoyed talking to Andy about my daughter's college experiences, at work, here in Dulles. I hope I helped him prepare for his daughter's first year. Andy was so proud of his daughters. I remember when Andy brought a bouquet of balloons into the office to take to Dulles airport to greet you and the kids when you returned from France. Such a great dad! May you find comfort from the wonderful memories forever.

I wish to express my deepest sympathies to Andy's family and loved ones. Andy was a vibrant part of the "Maryland contingent" of mineral collectors who ventured to Franklin, N.J., for our spring and fall mineral shows. Last year Andy exhibited a wonderful collection of fluorescent mineral spheres at one of our shows, and I conversed at length with him about his amazing collection. We in the New Jersey mineral clubs and museums will miss Andy greatly, but we'll always remember his ready smile and great enthusiasm.

Dear Denise and daughters,
I am so sorry about your loss of Andy. You had a loving marriage, a best friend, and a wonderful Dad to your daughters. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I remember Andy at lots of softball practices and games he coached for Gabi and my daughter in elementary school. He had a great knack for encouraging the girls by finding one good effort they'd made at every game - not always an easy task (think Bad News Bears) - but he never gave up trying. Thank you, Andy. What a great guy.

I was sad to hear about Andy's passing. I had the opportunity to work with him and saw him in OKC just a few short months ago. He spoke about his family with a smile on his face. I pray you may find God's peace and comfort during this difficult time.
