Andy Ramani
With sadness in our hearts we announce the death of Andy Ramani AKA Indurkumar Kewalramani, aged 84. He passed away peacefully on the August 17, 2018 at 10:38 a.m. at Sibley Hospital in Washington, DC. Two days earlier , he suffered a heart attack while playing a bridge game (and winning) with his friends in the building he lived in for over 20 years. Andy was an adored father, brother and friend. Everyone he encountered was smitten by his warmth, charm and wit. He will be missed by many. May his soul rest in peace. We will always carry his memory in our hearts. Andy leaves behind two daughters, Malini Ramani and Gitu Ramani-Ruff. Son-in-law, David Ruff and grandsons, Kai and Kaspian Ruff. Family members Lakshmi, Shela, Nina, Sanchi and Rafael Halper. He also leaves behind a brother, Rummy Kewalramani and sister, Madhuri Parmar.Memorial is planned for a later date.
