My deepest condolences for your family's loss. We just learned of her passing at Lerner's offices and we are deeply saddened. Ann was a beloved friend and colleague to so many of us and she will be deeply missed. She was a very proud mother and grandmother and was beaming the last time I saw her at one of our happy hour functions.

Ann will be truly missed. She was a beam of light each and every time she visited just to say "hello" and "how are you?" It is with a heavy heart and appreciation that I was afforded grace in her presence. Ann, may you rest in power knowing your life's work shall speak for you. Condolences to the family. Heartfelt sympathy, Avis Driver (Lerner)

Dear Steve, Harry, Ellen, and Paul,
I am so sad that Ann is no longer in this world. Though we have not seen each other in years, my adoration of each of you lives deep in my heart. I so loved every time I was around any of you: in your home, at Micah or a Micah event, on the streets; hearing annually (until was stopped) celebrate his love of Ann on WAMU...
Ann had an enthusiasm for life that will remain unmatched. Her love of people and attention to detail, and somehow always remembering the importance of kindness. You know there is more...
The Kabbalists teach that at the moment of passing, every positive thought, word, or deed that occurred during the person's life is concentrated into a pristine spiritual light. This light is revealed to the world and in the Heavenly spheres, where it continues to shine and have an effect on those above and us below. Any time, like tonight, I am stargazing, I'll also be hoping to get a glimpse of her light.
Much love and many hugs,
Sabrina
PS. Steve, I am so glad that you are doing better. May you continue to heal and recover.

Ann was my extraordinary cousin, a few years older than me. My family lived in Lafayette Hill and hers in Cheltenham and we shared a lot of holiday dinners, ski trips to Canada and our parents were golf enthusiasts. Aunt Mickie´s house was decorated in a fabulous French Blue and Uncle Norman was a very good cook. Together with the cousins and their dog Colie, we always had fun. As adults separated by distance, Ann was very good at bringing the family together and we shared in simchas. I remember her telling me she had applied for the docent/study program at the National Portrait Gallery and wasn´t sure if she would be accepted. I knew it was a slam dunk. My brilliant cousin not only had the aptitude to retain the information but she also had the creativity and ability to present it in a relatable way. Ann had an insatiable curiosity and she never stopped learning. Her passion for travel was one way to understand culture, artifacts and place. She was an excellent photographer and many of us traveled with her with her postings in Facebook. Her love for her family, her desire to keep family together and help family reconnect stands out. Ann had a big heart and was proud of the accomplishments of her children and Steve. Rest in peace my dear cousin. Yours was a exemplary life well lived. I will miss you. Ellen Sablosky Silow

I was Ann's camp counselor in the 60s and had the privilege of getting to know her as an adult. Last year Ann, Steve and two more of my former campers and I visited South Africa together--a wonderful experience. Ann was passionate about travel, and already planning her next trip. She was devoted to her family, her synagogue, her volunteer work, her Somerset Camp bunk mates, her dog Rosie and so many good causes. And she loved riding her new e-bike! She was a special person who touched many lives in her short time on this earth. Her sudden death leaves us all poorer, but perhaps inspired to live lives full of caring, as she did, as if there is no tomorrow.

My name is Heidi Sigmon. I met Ann about 20 years ago when she was introduced to me by her husband Steve Rockower, my orthopod at the time. Over the years we would run into each other at various events and chat about our children and keep each other abreast about family activities. I ran into her about two weeks ago at the grocery store and touched base once again. She fondly shared with me a recent trip that she and Steve had taken. My condolences to Steve and their family.
Sincerely,
Heidi Sigmon

I am shocked. Ann and I were friends at Cheltenham High and at Goucher College. We have kept in touch all these years.
I have enjoyed her recent travels to many places with her husband. May her memory be a blessing....my condolences to the family.
