My Uncle Mike was one of the most interesting men I have ever met. I loved to listen to his life stories and reading his cards and letters were like reading a book. I am thankful for the time we had to spend together during his recent visits to Texas. He leaves me with fond memories of someone I was so very proud to know.

Dear Brother,
I'm glad we got to see each other in March. We have always had many miles between us but we still had a lot of family memories to share at our visits to Virginia and your visits to Texas.
I'm sure going to miss you brother,(even though you never let me ride your bicycle).
Love you,
Your Sister

Uncle Mike,
Although the miles between us kept us from being a bigger part of each other's lives, you will always have a place in our hearts and in our memories, (especially at Christmas!). I know the ship you are sailing on now is glory bound. Bon Voyage...
