On Thursday, March 31, 2016, BENJAMIN GARFINKEL of Chevy Chase, MD. Beloved husband of Sally for 59 years. Devoted father of Deborah (Mark) Goldstein and Leonard (Laura) Garfinkel. Cherished grandfather of Brad and Daniel Goldstein and Sarah and Amy Garfinkel. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016, 1 p.m. at Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001 (endorsed by The Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington).

Dear Sally, Debbie, Mark, Len, Laura, Sarah, Amy, Daniel and Brad ~ Sending my heartfelt caring wishes. I have heard about Ben for decades from Laura, and look forward to learning even more about him. I know he lived a remarkable life and was deeply cherished. He will continue to live in your hearts forever. My head is bowed along with yours.
