Benjamin Licodo Obituary

(Age 80)
Born July 1, 1945, at Providence Hospital in Washington, DC to Benjamin Licodo and Beatrice Clare Licodo (who predeceased him). Ben attended Norfolk Catholic High and University of Maryland. Marriage to Patricia Paulus ended in divorce but gave them Christian (Denise, grand Ethan, greats Ethan, Emory) Maria Licodo Pace (Duncan, grand Spring) and Annalisa Bandalera. Sister Beatrice Laura Licodo Kooken predeceased him. Nieces, nephews, many great and great greats also survive him. Ben's second wife, Martha Taccarino survives along with Guppy. Ben accepted his diagnosis of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy with dignity. He never complained, appreciated the care given to him and just made the best of it. He died from complications caused by PSP, peacefully at home on August 4, 2025. Cremation handled by Cremation Society of the Carolinas. Full obit on their site. No service is planned at this time. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
Thank you again Mrs.Martha for the relationship we were able to build and also allowing Synergy HomeCare NR to support and provide care for Ben. Which in turn connected us to each other. We have years of memories that I will cherish for ever
