BERNARD COURTOIS
Bernard Courtois, aged 91, born March 3, 1920, died peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2011. Loving husband of 68 years of the late Lilyan Hauger Courtois. He is survived by his daughter, Renée (Steve) Brodeur of Corrales, NM; son, Gary (Carmen) Courtois of Silver Spring, MD; grandsons, Travis (Kristine Dunn) Gemoets of Los Angeles, CA; Darren (Elizabeth) Gemoets of Kensington, MD; Andrew (Melissa) Brodeur of Nashua, NH; granddaughter, Alana Courtois of Washington, DC; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Matthew Brodeur of Nashua, NH, Lily and Ryan Gemoets of Kensington, MD; brother, Harry (Faye) Courtois of Plantation, FL, and many other beloved friends and family. There will be a viewing at the chapel of Riderwood Village, 3110 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD on Tuesday, October 18, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. After the ceremony, there will be a reception at Riderwood Village, followed by interment at Maryland National Memorial Park in Laurel, MD. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations in her name to the Mission of Mercy at P.O. Box 102 Fairfield, PA 17320, or via the Web at http://www.amissionofmercy.org/donate/.
