On Wednesday, December 14, 2005 of College Park, MD. Loving mother of Steven Flury, Craig Flury, Michelle Robbins, Linda Flury Thomas and Patti Sjolie. Beloved companion of 25 years of Dr. Paul Bender. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two sisters, Thelma Weigle and Winifred Grimes; cherished nieces, Kathryn Preston and Jacquelyn Sears and other nieces and nephews close to her heart. Mrs. Flury was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Interment private by the request of the family. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Prince Georges County or Joan's Legacy, 27 Union Square West, Suite 208, New York, NY 10003.

I was so sorry to read of Betty's passing. She was always so helpful when we went to Dr. DeVore's office. She was also very good to my boys Eddie & Danny who cut her lawn for years while we lived on Creighton Drive. She was a good neighbor also.
