To My Entire Williams Family,
I send my love to you all, my heartfelt love and deepest sympathy. It broke my heart to hear the sad news that my cousin-look alike big sister had passed away. It hurts so bad to lose your love ones. Betty, grew me up from a mighty long-way-childhood. From our days of growing up from 4th St NE at our Grandmothers house, from Quarles St to Nash St and all of the others in between Topeka Av and N St. I will always remember the good times when she took me to Atlantic City, the Hampton Jazz Festival and all of her club outings and cabarets. I will never forget her pretty smile and laughter. I remember Ma Bessie told us (that all we needed was a reason) and we would have a party and now our parties will continue in your memory and honor. Now it's the time for you to take your rest until we meet again. I am so glad that I got to spend some time with you the week before God called you home. Rest in peace Betty.
Love Your Cousin,
