FITZGERALD CARL- ASHTON O. GRAY FITZGERALD Suddenly on May 26, 2009 beloved son of Anita Fitzgerald and Carl Gray. Also survived by other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 3 from 12 noon until 1 p.m. service time at Pope FUNERAL HOME, Forestville Chapel, 5538 Marlboro Pike.

i keep typing what i think i should say then erasing it because at times like this there is really nothing you can say to change the situation. my heart however, feels the deepest sympathy for his family and friends. we went to school together and our parents still work together for DPR. God is in control and he will take care of Carl and his family. I can't possibly imagine what this must be like for his mom, so while i pray for his soul i will also pray for her strength for the times when no one else is around and all the cards, letters, and phone calls stop that she will find peace in the Lord because he is our strength and refuge especially during times like this. May a sea of love overflow from the heavens above( Carl's new home! ) to the Fitzgeralds' family and friends that we may rest in peace knowing that he is with our Father and one day we will see him again...get right!!

Ashton You were one of the realist and funniest people I have ever meet. I am blessed all the time Me U Key T and Ma and Keith and all of the Bryant family spent together. I told you to give me a copy of the CD we made but it would have been to hard for me. I am glad that I saw you one last time and I saw you happy and we were acting silly at the Gas Station on A town Rd on Memorial Day. You will truely be missed and I 'll see you again one day. Ashton I don't believe that you are gone! My heart is broken into a million pieces! I still remember the day we met, back in 2001! High school days......I remember our first kiss! As well as our last one! We use to talk all the time.....I won't ever have the chance to live out how I felt about you! But you will always know! I Love You and I miss you! My deepest condolences go out to Ms. Fitzgerald, Gevonna and Michelle. I loved Ashton like one of my own kids. I've known the Fitzgerald family every since I began working in DPR at Bald Eagle Rec. Ashton and I grew up as "Rec Babies" and matriculated into DPR summer workers. He was one of the first friends that I met when I first started working at Parks and Recreation. We kept in contact throughout the years and remained rather close. Ashton was a great guy and I am glad to call him not only my friend but my Rec brother. I still can't believe that something so tragic could happen to someone so great. To the Fitzgerald family, you are in my prayers and I pray that things get better. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. To Ashton, my buddy, the Most High has called you to be the main event in his rap group! Watch over us and Live your dream in Heaven. Make sure that you compose something great for me to listen to when I meet you again
