CECIL RAMSUNDAR Obituary
CECIL F. RAMSUNDAR (Age 81)
Neurophysiologist Dr. Cecil F. Ramsundar amassed a distinguished 47 year academic career (1971-2017) with the University of the District of Columbia passed away on January 6, 2019. Over time he served as a Professor in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology; however, his true passion was in teaching Nursing, Allied Health, and Anatomy and Physiology. He served in various capacities as a Pre-Dental and Pre-Med advisor, Allied Health coordinator, and Liaison with graduate and professional schools. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dr. Nathalia King Ramsundar, and their beloved dedicated son, Krishna; three siblings: Warren Ramsundar and Walter (Rose) Ramsundar, and a sister Carmen Ramsundar; an array of nieces and nephews in the US, Canada, The West Indies, and England; the descendants of his late Aunt Victoria Maywa Jennings; his sister in law Claudette Moore King. Obsequies were held on January 17, 2019 at the Callaway Allee Funeral Home in Crockett, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Francis of the Tejas Parish Catholic Church, 609 N 4th St, Crockett, TX 75835.
