Charles Louis Covell III (Age 56)
On Thursday, September 26, 2019, of Gaithersburg, MD. Beloved husband of Sherri D'Aloisio Covell; father of Charles Anthony, Jordan Mary Jean, and Charlotte Elizabeth Covell; son of Mary Tiffey Covell and Charles Covell, Jr; brother of Timothy (Maria), Kathleen (Geoffrey) Flaherty, Christina (Marlene) Covell, Susan (Jeremy) Sands, and Matthew (Seanna). Relatives and friends may call at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, 9601 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, MD, Wednesday, October 2, 2019, from 5 to 8 p.m. where on Thursday, October 3, 2019, eulogies will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Boy Scouts of America National Capital Area Endowment to Benefit Campership or the St. Jane de Chantal Monsignor Christopher Fund.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Not a week goes by that we don´t think of Chuck and recount the many fun times we shared. From DeChantal events and ski club to fishing to hanging together in Ocean City and at Fish Tales or Sunset, we loved every minute! Till we meet again, fair winds and calm seas our friend! David & Heather

Sherri, Chase, Jordan, Charlotte and Family
We met when Chase and Maggie were at St. Janes... such a great family you have. We have also many memories at Sunset Island...when we first discovered we both had a townhouse there!!! So cool, we came to see your townhouse to see the extra finishes and lighting he did. I remember sitting on our porch watching Chase and your dog riding a bike and watching Chuck riding his.
Also seeing him at Ace Hardware....buying supplies...then also at St. Janes.... always involved...with you Sherri and eighth grade graduation...making the best of everything, then I had the pleasure of staying at St. Janes..as an aide in kindergarten,seeing you and Chuck for more years while Chase, Jordan and Charlotte in kindergarten...moved on.
Starbuck's now when I walk in...I think I'm going to run in to Chuck and Charlotte....
We miss you Chuck...

To the Covell Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. I first met Chuck as a new developer at Bozzuto Homes. Even though he was President of the company, he always took time to explain the real estate business to me in a way that only Chuck could. Those that have had the honor to work along side him know exactly what I mean. He was the most genuinely confident person I had ever met. I have now been in real estate over 20 years and Chuck was without a doubt the most influential person in my career. He will be greatly missed.

It's hard to express the sadness that Tom and I felt when we heard of Chuck's death. It was just heartbreaking.
Chuck was very invested in the building of our home and because of that effort we have everything we wanted in our beautifully planned out home. Tom also worked with Chuck as a contract custom woodworker and enjoyed that relationship very much.
We are thinking of, and praying for all of his family every day.

Chuck and I met under the crazy circumstances of an auction where we were representing opposite interests. Chucks polite command of the English language made you realized after it was too late that he owned the conversation and you better dust off the thesaurus to retaliate. After our dust up , we became great friends which lead to many hunting trips , some great real estate transactions , my introduction to good bourbon and countless phone calls about silly auction items that he could not help from bidding on. The world is less sophisticated in his absence.

Dear Mary & Chuck: My parents friends' Ron & Jane Coene sent me the link to your son's obituary. I was your neighbor in Potomac and lived with you 2 summers in Ocean City as a Mother's helper caring for Charles and his siblings while I was in nursing school. I'm so sorry for your loss.
