Chris was a caring and loving person. He had empathy for others and showed it in everything he did. I loved his casual style of dressing. He was down to earth, and you could relate to him in many ways. I know he loved jazz and attended the Friday night jazz sessions at the church down the street from him. He loved playing golf and anything outside in nature. Rest in peace.

My condolences to the Veney family.
I worked with Cris in the FCSD a long time ago.
He did his job well.
May he rest in peace.
