So sorry for your loss. It was a privilege to have had the opportunity to work with Jo in the Magnet Program, Law and Public Policy, at Largo High School, in Prince Georges County, MD. She was so gracious to staff and students. I cherish the throw she made for me.

Mrs. Henry was the epitome of greatness, both in the classroom and out. She was my AP European History teacher in HS and I have cherished her ever since. From trying to teach a left-hander how to crochet during a NYC field trip bus ride to all the cards she would send on birthdays and holidays. Sending condolences to her family and friends; I know she is greatly missed by all.

Jo and I administered the Law and Public Policy cohort for the Academy of Law at Largo HS for many years. She was the most organized and innovative teacher I had ever known. She demonstrated genuine love for her students and represented the profession with grace and dignity. Teachers of her caliber are called and not made. Take your rest Jo. You earned it!!!!!

It is with a very heavy heart that I send this message to the family of Mrs. Henry. I was apart of the first Academy of Law at Largo HS. Words cannot express the.love that I have for Mrs. Henry she was truly a great educator, and all around individual. The love and care that she gave her students was unmatched. I have never met a better teacher. She is one of the reasons why I became an educator. May she rest in peace and may God give her family strength and peace knowing that she was loved but ALL of her students and that she was able to help so many. Rest well Mrs. Henry job well done!

My condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Henry. Mrs. Henry was my favorite teacher in HS. Being apart of the Law strand in school was the best thing that could have happen to me. She was a great teacher and mentor. I am very grateful for her. I truly believe she was a great influence on me becoming law enforcement and I was able serve my community for 20yrs. She will be greatly missed. May she Rest In Peace.

Jo and I were heads of two popular academic strands at Largo. She was head of the Law strand and I was head of the Biotechnology strand. We shared many students and they loved her. It was my pleasure to work with her. She was a true professional and loved teaching. My deepest sympathies to her family. Those that knew her will never forget her. An amazing, loving, spirited, committed teacher !

I don't know where I would be or even if I would be the man that I am today if it weren't for Ms. Henry's law strand class. For those 2 years, Ms. Henry's class was by far my favorite by a long shot. Thank you for what you taught me and driving me to be the best version of myself that I can be!!
