Clarence Skinner Obituary

SKINNER, CLARENCE CLAUDE, JR.

On Monday, April 12, 2004, succumbed to his eternal rest at the VA Nursing Home of Washington, DC. Clarence served in the Korean War as a U.S. Army Ranger. He is survived by his beloved wife, Gertrude Skinner; his son, Michael Skinner; two stepdaughters, Carlotta Buttram and Clarissa Clark; his mother, Clarice Skinner; sister, Joan Davis; three brothers, Louis, Robert and Wade Skinner; one sister-in-law, Ronnie Skinner; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Claude Skinner, Sr. and sister, June Gaston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 19, 2004 at the Incarnation Church, 880 Eastern Ave., N.E. Family will receive friends at 10 a.m. until time of 11 a.m. service. Interment will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1300 Bladensburg, Rd., N.E.
