CLYDE JOINER Obituary
Clyde Joiner "David" (Age 71)
Passed on to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 28, 2017. David was predeceased by his parents Clyde Lafeyette and Josephine Edith Joiner. David is survived by his wife of 48-1/2 years, Judy Bridgeman Joiner, and his sister, Ginny Joiner of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; children, Sherry J. Harrell and husband John Frederick Harrell of Virginia Beach, VA, Scott David Joiner and wife Alicia Marie Joiner of St. Louis, Missouri, and Suzanne Marie Joiner of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren Carter James Hawley, Rileigh Lillian Harrell, and John David Joiner. A Memorial service is planned for Saturday April 1, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Springfield, located at 7300 Gary Street, Springfield, Virginia 22150.

The Joiner Family. I am indeed sorry to learn of David's death. He lived a long, hard fought and brave life. You each played a wonderful part in it and can be proud of the love you showed to him. You will honor him most by honoring his name with your life. I love eachy of you and am only glad to have enjoyed sharing your lives as well.

Judy and family,
We are at a loss for words because it's hard to imagine a world without David. He was a true servant at First Baptist Springfield. I remember his untiring work when he was Chairman of the Personnel Committed. He always brought humor to the circumstances but we always knew that he had been deligent in his research and his support of the staff. I can think of no other person who has meant more to FBCS than David Joiner. We are both very sorry we can't be with you on Saturday but be assured of our prayers for you, Sherry, Scott and Suzanne.
