THORNTON CRYSTAL TOMEE THORNTON Suddenly on Friday June 20, 2008, as a result of a vascular rupture, CRYSTAL TOMEE THORNTON, of Germantown, MD. Beloved daughter of Debra A. and Daryl G. Thornton, Sr., Germantown, MD; loving mother of Faith C.A. Collins, Germantown, MD; beloved granddaughter of Marjorie Thornton, Lois Gaye Trimble, both of Topeka, KS and the late George Thornton and Kenneth G. Trimble; loving sister of Daryl G. Thornton, II, Cleveland, OH, Shelly E. Schaufele, Odenton, MD and Nicholas (Wren) Thornton, Lutherville, MD; adored fiancC)e of Noland D. Shepard, Germantown, MD; beloved aunt of Katherine and Trinity Grace. Many loving “god-children” also survive her. Friends may call at DeVOL FUNERAL HOME, 10 E. Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, MD on Thursday, June 26, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held at Church of the Redeemer, 19425 Woodfield Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20879 on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 3 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to a fund for her daughter, Faith Collins, c/o Seneca Creek Community Church, 13 Firstfield Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20878. I am still so shocked that I'm still in disbelief. Crystal, you were loved...your energy was amazing. I still remember all our silliness in G'burg High...you definitely made things fun. I know your up there smiling down...just remember, you'll never be forgotten. May GOD bless your family in this time of sorrow. I will miss you.

I don't know what to say. I'm still in shock. You were my bestfriend, my confidant, my sister, my heart. You were a huge part of my family. You have been my guardian angel from day 1. And now that you are no longer here with us you will continue to be our guardian angel. I love you, the boys love you. Rest in peace Superstar.
