To Barbara, Peter, David, and MaryBeth...
We all share the loss of my dear brother Dan even though we know he is no longer suffering. Thank you all for leading a perfectly beautiful celebration of his life. Dan surely heard the words of love and gratitute from each of you and smiled in joy and with great pride in the family that he loved dearly. When you bring him to Arlington next week, please know I will be with you in spirit, and if you will, give an extra salute of honor to Dan from me for a life well lived. Rest in peace, dear Brother.

Barbara and family: Times like this always bring back shared memories. We remember first meeting you in Camp LeJeune, NC. You lived down the street on Hagaru Drive in Tarawa Terrace. Carol remembers Peter and your Basset Hound, in particular. We shared experiences together in Ft Sill, OK as well. Dan was an exceptional Marine and one I always admired for his intellect and knowledge of artillery. He always had the right answers and solutions with the ability to teach it to others in his own, personal way. Our Marine Corps will miss him, as will all his many friends.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
With warm regards,
