David Lynch Obituary

David J. Lynch Colonel U.S. Army

David J. Lynch, a retired U.S. Army Colonel who served his nation for 31 years, including two tours in Vietnam, died on May 9, 2023 of cancer at his home in Springfield, VA. In addition to his wife Joanne, he is survived by his four children, Christopher, Carol Franz, Paul, and Kathleen Fox; and eight grandchildren. Visitation will occur on May 19, at 1 p.m. at Nativity Catholic Church, 6400 Nativity Lane, Burke, VA 22015, followed immediately by a Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Please consider a donation to either Saint Peter's University (https://alumni.saintpeters.edu/give) or Tunnels to Towers (https://t2t.org/donate/ in lieu of flowers.
