Dean and I were married from 1972 to 1977, moving from Oregon to Virginia for his job with the FERC. He was an extraordinary man, who I truly believed would live forever. I am sadden to read that he passed in 2021. My condolences to his daughters and other family members.

Dean and I were Reston neighbors and carpool buddies, along with Laura and Scott. He was a great conversationalist and analytical scientist who always had a positive attitude. RIP
