I got to spend a couple years with Donna when she and Patty invited my mother and me to join their Bingo table at the Greenspring complex. They were both so kind to my mother (who was having a lot of health issues) and me. I was so impressed with Donna´s intelligence, grace, varied interests, sense of fun and kind heart. Thank you Donna and Patty for adding some joy for us during a difficult time. Deepest condolences to Donna´s family and friends.

So very saddened to just learn of the passing of Donna. She was a long term, faithful and dedicated U.S. Postal Service employee who I was blessed to have on my team with the Northern VA Management Sectional Center. For about the past year, Donna and I have been exchanging emails recalling those challenging and exciting times.
Donna, may you rest in peace and your family, including postal employees who spoke so highly of you, rest in the comfort of your special friendliness and competence. God Bless You, Sincerely, Gerald F. (Jerry) Merna, USPS Retired.
