TEW, DORIS J.

Of Gaithersburg, MD passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2004. She was the beloved wife of the late Jimmy R. Tew; loving mother of Timothy M. Tew, Catherine M. Tetlow and Stephen E. Tew; loving sister of Wendell Rettstatt. Also survived by a brother-in-law, Michael B. Carpenter; two grandchildren, Jaime L. Tetlow and William A. Tetlow and a great-grandson, Tristen C. Tetlow-Ames. Friends will be received at PUMPHREY'S COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 300 West Montgomery Ave. (Rt. 28 just off I-270, exit 6-A) Rockville, MD on Wednesday, December 22, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD.

Alice Buell - Doris was a dear friend of mine and will be missed greatly. She was a special person - words cannot describe what a wonderful person she was. She affected so many lives in such a positive light. My sympathy and thoughts go out to her family. Doris, thank you for giving me the privilege of being your friend. I will miss you very much.
