Dorothy Weil Obituary

Dorothy O. Weil 94 years young, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025 at home with her family by her side. A native Washingtonian, Dorothy leaves behind a legacy of love, style and strength. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Martin L. Weil, her brother Sol Oshinsky and her sisters Pearl Richmond and Betty Perry.
Dorothy is survived by her devoted children, Stacey and Brian (Claire) Weil; her cherished grandchildren, Michael (Theresa) Rosenthal and Todd (Casey) Rosenthal, and her great-grandchildren Gunner, Grayson, Aylen, Seanna and Evan who brought her immense joy.
Forever remembered as a fashionable force, formidable card player and avid baseball enthusiast, and a fiercely devoted matriarch, Dorothy's vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at Judean Memorial Gardens in Olney Maryland on Sunday, June 29 at 1 p.m. The family will be observing Shiva at the home of Brian and Claire on Sunday and Monday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. with a Minyan service at 7:30 p.m.
Donations in loving memory of Dorothy can be made to the Montgomery County Unit of the American Cancer Society.
Services entrusted to Sagel Bloomfield FC.
