As someone who knew Sandy when he was at UNO and living in Uptown New Orleans, I especially remember his style, wit and enthusiasm. Wherever he is now and whatever he is doing, I know that he is doing it with that same wit and style.
So long, Sandy, it was great knowing you!
My deepest sympaties to his 3 sons, family and friends.

My parents Tom and Teresa Fannon are Mr and Mrs Mackintosh's neighbors next door. I met The Mackintosh's a few times. I saw Sandy last and some of his sons on Thanksgiving and I am very sorry about his passing. The family will be in my prayers. My mother and father will be at the funeral.
