E. Rosanelli Obituary

ROSANELLI E. GEORGE ROSANELLI, M.D. Died on January 24, 2009 at the age of 89. Dr. Rosanelli, a native of Brooklyn, NY, lived in Fairfax, VA for the past 16 years after living and working in New Jersey for the previous 30 years. In New Jersey, Dr. Rosanelli had a medical practice in obstetrics and gynecology in West New York, NJ. When he moved to Fairfax, he continued to practice medicine with Kaiser Permanente in the Washington, DC area for two years until his retirement. Dr. Rosanelli was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN and Georgetown University Medical School in Washington, DC. He served as an Army Captain in World War II. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan Rosanelli of Fairfax, VA; and their five children, George Rosanelli of Tampa, FL, Donald Rosanelli of Fairfax, VA, Robert Rosanelli of Phoenix, AZ, Joan Grubb of Manalapan, NJ, and Paula Gargan of McLean, VA; as well as his five grandchildren, Robbie and Stephen Rosanelli, Joanie Grubb, and Joey and John Gargan. Viewing will take place on Saturday, February 7 at Torregrossa Funeral Home, 1305-79th St., Brooklyn, NY and a funeral Mass will follow at St. Bernadette's Church, 8201-13th Ave., Brooklyn, NY at 10:45 a.m.

Thank you Doctor Rosanelli for delivering me in the French Hospital NYC on this Day February 13, 1950 at 7:20 am this morning 71 years ago. My mom was Katherine Veronica Travers a wonderful mother.
I see your life and legacy have been forever documented. A good life lived. I also have had a good life.
