I "discovered" Dr. Ravenal through his excellent articles in Reason magazine. A principled man. RIP.

I met Earl at various libertarian events in the late 1970s. A fine, principled man and an independent thinker. I wish I had got to know him better.

Is this your painting that hangs in my kitchen? Why is it I just turned it over today to see if I could figure out whose work it is just today, only to find your husband's(?) obituary? I'm sorry for your loss. My father, Taki Votoras, taught at RIC and he purchased painting. It's very strange timing or perhaps not a match at all.
Be well
