Dear Ann Daly, Betsy & Jack,
Thinking of you all and remembering what great friends your parents were to Uncle Eddie & Connie Miller and then with my parents at Driftwood Beach. Remember when I was engaged to Peder Shea and they hosted a wedding shower for us at your cottage? Your folks were so much FUN! We miss them. Hope to see you at the beach soon. Sincerely, Jane Poland Shea

Earl Thomas was the first lawyer I met when I moved to Virginia in the 60s and handled our first house closing. We would see each other from time to time after that and got to calling each other, for no particular reason, "Cousin Earl" and "Cousin Bob". We were both members of the Alexandria Rotary Club where he had uncanny talent or luck in winning the weekly raffle. He was a great guy and fun to know. I will miss him. Bob Calhoun
