REV. EDWARD VERNON DORSEY

"Pete" On Friday, January 5, 2007, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. The eldest son of John Edward and Gladys Virginia Dorsey. Beloved husband of the late Edith R. Dorsey and Laura M. Dorsey; devoted father of Edward V. Dorsey, Jr., and Patricia D. Stein; devoted father in-law of Penny B. Dorsey; devoted step-father of Heather Hurst (Jon); loving grandfather of Edward V. Dorsey, IV, (Lee) and Kathryn D. Elphinstone (Mike) and adoring great-grandfather of Gracie Elphinston. Also predeceased by brother, William C. Dorsey.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, 28337 Mount Vernon Rd., Mount Vernon, MD 21853-0178, at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2007. A burial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 14519 Church St., Upper Marlboro, MD 20773-0187 at 11 a.m. Saturday, 13, 2007. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dorsey Memorial Fund at either Trinity or Grace Churches at the addresses indicated above.
